Documentary: Project trip Sri Lanka

Every year, we “Lemonaider” travel to the growing regions of our farmers to meet them face-to-face – because we don´t only rely on the Fairtrade seal, but want to learn about their living and working conditions by ourselves.

In January 2014, four of us have been to Sri Lanka, where we get the green and black tea for our iced Teas.

Jonas, Taylan, Gianna und Paul visited the Fairtrade plantation and social projects, picked tea and discovered the highland. Furthermore they visited the Diyanilla Technical Institute, where young adults are offered vocational alternatives besides monocultural farming, supported by our charitable not-for-Profit organization Lemonaid & ChariTea e.V.
