We talk to Selmin Çalişkan about her idea of a better world.
As Secretary-General of Amnesty International Germany, Selmin Çalışkan campaigns for human rights all over the world. She has worked for several years in Afghanistan, supported women’s rights and human rights work in Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and helped establish a European network for women migrants. Çalışkan, a qualified translator, sends the world a clear message in her fight against torture and other human rights abuses.
